About Photographer Carol Harrold
Carol holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in commercial photography from the Colorado Institute of Art. She began her career working in editorial, commercial, fashion and travel photography where she learned to master lighting and composition, as well as developed her reputation for outstanding client and subject rapport.

In 1992, Carol photographed her first wedding and literally hundreds have followed. Since then, she’s enjoyed a growing and successful business, driven primarily by client referrals. Frequently, wedding clients return to Carol to photograph their families as they grow.

Carol’s photographs have been featured regularly in Seattle Bride Magazine, since appearing in its inaugural issue in 1998. Though based in Seattle, Carol works throughout the northwest, having photographed weddings from Roche Harbor to Cannon Beach.

Carol combines creativity and technical expertise to produce beautiful, quality images regardless of the venue or time of year. She is equally skilled at composing both elegant portraits and taking candid shots with an uncanny ability to capture special moments that become legacies. Her wedding photography is best described as elegant, classic and truly narrative.

“I love photographing people and weddings are my specialty. I’m inspired by the challenge of making it all come together to tell a story – the families, the lighting, the location. Whether I’m photographing in a pristine church, a backyard garden or an elegant hotel, it is a unique experience every time and I treat each wedding individually.”

Because weddings are one of the most special occasions in our lives, Carol believes that the bride and groom and their families deserve nothing less than kindness and respect.

Carol documents the ceremony and reception without intrusion, but with a constant watchful eye. The only direction comes when photographing the posed and group shots.
